Our 20 chocolate candies (10 ganaches and 10 pralines) come in a specific, specially designed format!
After multiple tests and tastings, Victoire Finaz, Abanico’s Creative Director, decided on an original format:
- a width = 30mm
- a length = 35 mm
- a height = 8mm
Why? Because when you taste it, it has the ideal size that lets you take it between the thumb and forefinger, look at it and notice its sleek decoration, highlighting the brilliant appearance of the chocolate coating.
When you bite into it, your teeth sink into the candy and your tastebuds appreciate its soft or crisp texture, depending on the recipe you’re tasting. The thickness of the candy is fine, refined, subtle. Tasting it leaves us with an impression of lightness, faithful to the elegance sought by Victoire Finaz.
Delicious, creamy, the first bite is a discovery, the senses are awake, we look, we are amazed, we taste, and the tasting continues.
The chocolate lover always holds the last bit of his chocolate between the thumb and forefinger, and then the second bite comes.

Praline: A paste ground more or less finely, composed of powdered sugar, almonds and/or hazelnuts, oven-toasted and caramelised.
Ganache: An intimate blend of chocolate and fine pieces and fresh cream brought to the boil. Ganache is used as is (plain ganache) or flavoured in various ways (coffee, tea, spices...). It may also include the pulp of certain fruits (example of ganache: line ganache, bitter-orange ganache, passionfruit ganache, spiced ganache, etc.).
ASCENT – Melting or crunching? Give in to the contrasting sensations of the cluster, with its tender praline, or of the gold palet, transformed by its cocoa-rich creaminess.
