Abanico guarantees that its products are manufactured and packaged according to strict quality rules and kept according to current French standards.
Abanico works in close collaboration with French craftsmen to turn the creations of Victoire Finaz, the brand’s creative director, into a reality. Our selected chocolate craftsmen make our chocolates according to traditional methods. All our chocolates are hand-made, and every shape, every garnish, every nut added is an expression of unique and daring creativity that will introduce you to new taste sensations.
The ingredients are carefully selected, and special attention is paid to their source so that we can guarantee the genuineness of the taste and the quality of Abanico’s recipes.
All Abanico chocolates are 100% pure cocoa butter, and our praline and ganache fillings contain no additives or preservatives.
Protecting the chocolates for shipping
The boxes Abanico uses for its chocolates guarantee optimum packaging so that your chocolates arrive at their destination in perfect condition. Then, set inside a special cardboard box, your assortments of chocolates are well ensconced and protected so they won’t be ruined during shipping.
Orders are prepared each day for shipping at the end of the day, to assure you of optimum freshness.
Our partner who delivers your Abanico orders is Chronopost.
We deliver our chocolates throughout France and all European Union countries, excluding Malta and Cyprus.
FRANCE:
We deliver our chocolates throughout Metropolitan France, Corsica and Monaco, as well as in the Overseas Departments, on the day of your choice, within 24-48 hours.
In Metropolitan France, delivery is made between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the day indicated when the order is taken and reconfirmed in the order confirmation e-mail, according to the delivery method selected.
The time frame is met either by direct delivery of the product to the addressee’s specified address, or, if the recipient is absent, by notice of attempted delivery.
We commit to offer you quality service at competitive prices compared to other chocolatiers. We pass on to you the rates as applied by our partner. In Metropolitan France, delivery costs 8,90€ from Monday through Friday and 13.5€ on Saturdays.
If there is a delay in delivery, Abanico promises to respond appropriately within 24 hours after the complaint is made using the contact form.
If the delivery times indicated by Abanico are exceeded by more than 7 days, the client may request cancellation of the order by registered letter with confirmation of receipt. The consumer may exercise this right within sixty business days from the date indicated for delivery of the product. The consumer will then be reimbursed in full.
EUROPEAN UNION:
We deliver our products to all European Union countries, excludind Malta and Cyprus, within 2 to 6 days. Find the details by country here.
On the first day indicated above, the delivery is made to the addressee's specified address anytime in the day. If the recipient is absent, the delivery is made a second time on the following day. If the recipient is again absent, then the product is sent back to SICHOCO - SAS Office in France.
Delivery is made from Monday to Friday.

Payment is made using the Sogenactif bank interface, developed by Société Générale and Atos, so as to secure all transactions and prevent fraud.
All transactions are processed directly by this interface, so that neither the site nor any other intermediary can access the data you provide in this payment-related part (card number, expiration date and cardholder name).
The Société Générale platform uses the SSL protocol to encrypt the data and handles the authorisation request and validation of your payment.
